WELCOME TO KIRKLAND!!

As the dawn broke on this great day of fate for nervous Freshman, 2 young Kirklanders braved the darkness to spread the light of the great house of Kirkland by painting dear John Harvard with the noble colors of all that is good. However, by the time the procession of Kirklanders arrived, evil Kirkland-hating trolls (or perhaps yard clean-up) had rinsed the statue clean and all that was left was the are sadness of a life without Kirkland.

The brave Kirklanders however were not deterred and quickly scaled the great statue and brought back the triumphant colors to the face of Harvard, raising their flag high into the air for all to see! Hail Kirkland!

We literally raised the Kirkland flag where the flag of the USA is usually flown. With the face of John Harvard painted, our balloons blowing in the wind, and our flag flying above the rest, there was no doubt about which house had the most spirit this year.

It has been a whirlwind, and in 5 hours I will be leaving for China for spring break.
